How this site was made
A few notes on how these pages were put together, for anyone curious.
Type
Aa
Cormorant Garamond
Used for titles and the occasional italic line. It’s only ever set large, since it’s too delicate for small text.
Aa
Nunito Sans
Used for everything else. It’s friendly, round and easy to read at any size.
Colour
Almost nothing here is a pure colour. Six earthy hues sit on warm paper, and each comes in three strengths: a fill, a darker ink for text and a pale wash for backgrounds. The evening theme mixes them lighter and richer instead of simply inverting them.

Tools
Built with SvelteKit and Tailwind CSS, written in TypeScript and Markdown, and served as plain static files. There are no trackers or cookies. Your theme preference stays in your browser, along with temporary navigation history used to restore your scroll position.
